Had a fantastic experience at Hula Hoops. It was our first time visiting as a family, and everything — from the food to the ambiance — exceeded expectations. The food was absolutely delicious across the board. My dad loved the poke bowl, my mom enjoyed a flavorful ahi tuna dish, my brother had the longanisa and spam musubi (a fun twist on comfort food), and I had something like mochiko fried chicken loco moco — super satisfying. Portion sizes were generous, we all left full, and the presentation was spot on. The menu had a wide variety of creative, Hawaiian and Filipino-inspired dishes that we’re excited to try next time. The feel was very good too — casual, lively, and family-friendly, but also cozy and welcoming enough that it’d be a great date spot too. We especially loved the island-themed décor and tropical music, which added to the relaxed ambiance. The service was top-notch. The staff was kind, attentive, and even offered to take our family photo when they saw us snapping pictures — very thoughtful touch. They checked in on us without being pushy, which made the experience feel warm and genuine. (Some also speak Tagalog! Parents loved it.) Prices were what you’d expect for the high quality of food and service, and the brunch offerings extended past noon, which was a nice addition. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and although parking in the area can be a bit tricky (it’s just a busy spot), it was worth it. Highly recommend for family gatherings, casual hangouts, or even a relaxed date night. We definitely hope to come back — five stars all around. Maraming salamat po!

Good food options - Filipino and Hawaiian style. Reasonable amount of options for someone who does not eat beef/pork and also has a nut allergy. You can order via QR code or with the waiters. Would recommend getting reservations since the wait can be long.

Didn’t expect much from this “Tiki bar”, but I think my expectations were misaligned. Come here for the food and cocktails. Doesn’t have the true authentic tiki bar vibe, but close. They have all the ingredients- fish floats, tapa cloth lamps, fish trap, bamboo, wall coverings. Food and Buzz Tai were excellent and service was great.

This is my third visit at Hula Hoops and the friendly, attentive service remains consistent. I don't live nearby otherwise I would visit more often since I like the easy-going ambience here. The place was packed on Saturday and it was only 4pm. Food is yummy - Filipino Hawaiin fusion! I love that I can have gluten-free loco moco (mochiko chicken; ask for gravy on the side). Note, it comes with macaroni (not gf) and rice. The chicken has that perfect crunch and tender meat. It's not too greasy nor too salty. My mom had the wings which she enjoyed. I was expecting it to be like spicy hot wings but it was more garlicky with Asian spices. The lumpia is, of course, our staple go-to. I actually prefer their brunch menu; wished that was served all day! Looking forward to coming back. There's many more dishes I want to try.

Came for brunch. Made a reservation online. Did have a bit of confusion at check in and after waiting 15 mins and speaking to the staff again, they finally checked us in. We were seated and given a QR code to see the menu. We had passion fruit pancakes for the table which had a passion fruit sauce that was creamy but a bit grainy. The Ube cocktail was the star of the drinks. The entrees were huge and heavy. Overall a good experience. Parking was a free lot with easy parking for a weekend

It was our first visit to Hula Hoops today and it was awesome! Cheryl was our server and she was wonderful. She made us feel very welcome. We’ve been wanting to visit Hula Hoops for quite some time but the lines were always long. Rightfully so because the food, ambiance and service is excellent. Eating at Hula Hoops is like being transported to Hawaii minus the five hour flight. We will definitely be coming back again.

Hula hoops Tiki bar is definitely more of a bar vibe but still worth checking out for brunch. The place is really well decorated with a fun tropical atmosphere. One thing I appreciated right away was the menu. It’s well designed and includes photos of the entire team, which honestly says a lot about how much they value their staff. It gives a good first impression the moment you walk in. The cocktails are great. There’s a big variety and the presentation is super cute and creative, especially for a tiki bar. You can tell they put effort into how each drink looks and they don’t skimp on the alcohol either, which is always appreciated. For food we tried the Ahi Tuna Nachos, which were more like a tuna tartare with avocado on the bottom. A nice twist actually. We also ordered the BBQ chicken plate which was just okay. The chicken itself was kind of forgettable and the rice was pretty bland. It came with some pickled onions and a tiny scoop of macaroni salad. Since we ordered it to share it would have been nice if the kitchen had cut the chicken beforehand. They gave us a drumstick and a thigh and we had to slice it up ourselves. Those were the only dishes we tried and while the food didn’t really wow me the drinks definitely made up for it. I’d go back just for cocktails. Also if you’re into brunch the bottomless mimosas deal is a good reason to go. Parking is easy and free which is always a plus. If you’re planning to go during brunch hours I recommend making a reservation online so you can be seated quickly without waiting around.
